Variable Frame Rate (VFR) technology was first introduced by the original VariCam line-up, which allowed camera operators to over-crank or under-crank its frame rates for slow or fast motion.

The AU-EVA1 allows users to shoot up to 240 frames per second (fps) in HD, using a 4/3-type crop into the Super 35mm sensor and allows users to slow down the motion by nearly 9 times!
